1. Essential Oils
Rosemary oil is one of the best essential oil for naturally thickening the hair and increasing scalp circulation. You can massage it into your scalp with some carrier oil (such as olive or coconut oil). It has anti-inflammatory properties and you can use it daily to experience its hair strengthening benefits.
Other good options include cedarwood, clary sage, spinenard, lavender, thyme and peppermint essential oils.

2. Supplements
To reduce hair fall and prevent baldness try these supplements:
  • Saw palmetto – helps reduce hair loss by blocking the hormone DHT.
  • Pygeum is very similar to saw palmetto – it works by blocking the hormone DHT responsible with hair fall.
  • Pumpkin seed oil is very rich in zinc, which naturally supports hair, skin and nails health.
To naturally thicken your hair try these supplements:
  • Protein powder made from bone broth – bone browth is high in protein and collagen, which naturally helps thicken your hair and nails.
  • Fish oil – the omega 3 fats help reduce the inflammation, which is also a cause of hair thinning.
  • Aloe vera juice can also act as a natural hair thickner.
  • Zinc is also a supplement that can enhance immunity, but also contribute to thicker nails and hair.
If you’re experiencing emotional stress:
Hormones are key when it comes to hair loss. Here are some supplements that can help improve your stress levels and keep your hormones in check:
  • Ashwaganda is an adaptogenic herb, helping you better adapt to the emotional stress that can cause hair loss.
  • Rhodiola is another adaptogenic herb, shown to improve the energy levels, stamina and libido.
  • Organic B complex vitamins help strengthen your skin, nails and hair.

3. Diet
Is also an important factor when it comes to your general health and beauty. There are a number of foods you want to include in your diet in particular, as well as some foods you will want to avoid.
Foods to eat:
  • Eat organic meat and dairy (to avoid taking in the hormones and antibiotics found in non-organic animal products)
  • Pumpkin seeds – rich in zinc, fiber and other nutrients that can help thicken the hair.
  • Wild salmon is rich in omega 3 fats. Other fish variations include tuna, mackerel, sardines, halibut.
  • The antioxidants in green tea can also strengthen the hair, prevent hair loss and regulate the cortisol levels in the body.
  • Chia seeds, flax and hemp seeds are also high in omega 3 fats, which are good options for skin, hair and nails.
  • Bone broth – drinking it daily can replenish your lost collagen levels and strengthen the hair, skin and nails.
Foods to avoid:
Generally speaking, reduce all the “junk” food which can cause inflammation in the body, affect your hormones levels and prevent the absorbtion of vitamins and minerals that can nourish your body and hair. These include bad fats, sugar, fried foods, excess alcohol and caffeine.
