You can use essential oils in a number of ways: smell them from the bottle, use them with a diffuser, topically for beauty purposes, and sometimes for cooking to enhance the food flavor (peppermint, ginger, cinammon, turmeric, orange essential oils).

Lavender essential oil is one of the most popular and versatile essential oils used in aromatherapy. It is the most used essential oil in North America. The most popular and widely used essential oil, lavender is the perfect relaxing scent to have in your aromatherapy kit. It is the perfect calming oil – if you have a burn, sunburn or cut, put lavender oil on it immediately. It’s also good to diffuse it to sleep well at night, to reduce stress, improve mood, reduce anxiety. At work, massage a few drops of lavender oil on your face and rub it into your skin to reduce stress and tension. Use it in your wardrobe to scent your clothes or spritz a few drops on you pillow to sleep well at night.
